i have had a 1971 cat. sailboat at dock here for 6 months and have sailed the bay several times. i have never been stopped by the coast gaurd, and it just dawned on me that i do not know exactly what the coast gaurd requirements are. i have a horn on board, and life jackets(no radio or compass) thats about it. can anyone tell me what i am required (or suggested to have) thanks lee
