Coan river

Hi All,
Has anyone navigated the Coan River, on the western shore of the Potomac. Looking to see how getting back in toward the end of Burdick Rd near the old grain depot is. I have looked at charts, but it looks like shoaling may be an issue.

I have been in the Coan River several times. There is a lot of Oyster Farming going on in there now as well.

You may want to check Active Captain to see if there is any local knowledge of that area.

When I go into the Coan River I usually go into the first cove to the right past the Campground. Plenty of water in there, good holding, and peaceful anchorage. I weathered some nasty weather there once and some bad storms.
