CNG Miami

I bought my boat in miami 8 mos. ago and had CNG bottles filled there. i looked for the receipt (for the name of the business) and could'nt find it but i can still lead you to them. We did a quick-haul at Norseman shipbuilding, 437 NW south river dr., phone 305-545-6815. if you call them and ask for the name and/or phone number of the marine supply directly across the street from them, i'm sure they'll give it to you. that's where i had my CNG bottles filled. Norseman is on the miami river just 10 min. off the ICW. the river has several bridges (fixed & draw) and my boat, a 40.5 hunter with 62'- 9" mast had no problem with clearence. maybe you can dock at norseman and walk to the marine supply(about a 60 sec. walk). norseman and marine supply is on the south bank of the river. hope this was helpful, e-mail jkvincent@pdq.net good luck! On the web...

There's a list of CNG facilities on the web at http://afdcmap.nrel.gov/nrel/. It's an interactive selector. You tell it where you are it tells you where to go... I get mine refilled at the City of Palm Beach Gardens Florida municipal facility. They charge $1.50 per bottle. Jim "Prospect"
