Looking for places in New Jersey (Near Jersey City) to get Compressed Natural Gas for my Hunter 40. Has anybody converted to propane? Gene Kinney Triumph

NO CNG in NJ.

Gene, I owned a Hunter 35.5 for 5 years that used CNG. I did an extensive search for suppliers in NJ where I keep my boat, now a 1999 410. Nothing available. Once every 2 years, at the Anapolis boat show, I would bring my CNG cylinder along and stop at a local marina where they would exchange it, NOT FILL IT, for a filled cylinder. Cost about $25 - $30.00. Call me at 215-396-0154, I think I still might have a phone # for the marina.

Somebody has recently posted the same problem. They contacted Corp Brothers in Providence, RI and found a solution about shipping the tank. Look in the archives for the post (within the last month). Also check their web site for contacts and locations to get CNG. Good Luck. http://www.corpbrothers.com/marine.htm
