The drain plug on my Yanmar 3YM30 closed cooling system has developed a small leak. It appears to be a crimped on pipe clamp with a smal round plug. It is the plug on the hose leading from the heat exchanger, not the drain plug on the side of the block.
Two questions, how do I open this plug to drain the coolant for replacement and if I have to replace anything how or what should I be looking for that could be leaking.
This has just started in the past couple of weeks and I'm getting ready to be hauled out Oct. 28 :cry::cry: and need to get the engine compartment up to Maine Sail standards
