Clevis pin removal from masthead truck casting

I stepped the mast in order to do work to the mast and spreaders. I attempted to remove all the rigging but the clevis pins are stuck. I tried using WD-40 and some other stuff call Zef, but they won't budge. I even tried removing the Masthead Truck Casting, after removing all of the necessary screw, but that won't come-off either. Any suggestions? Thanks,

Welcome to my world ... :)

Sounds like the mast hasn't been out of the boat every few years for inspection and maintenance. If you are very careful, heat from a propane torch, a brass drift, and a hammer should persuade the pins out of the masthead. The same goes for getting the casting out of the mast. If you are unlucky you will break the masthead truck casting and have to spend a couple of boat bucks for a new one. Good news is that you can still buy them. BTW- I hope you meant you UN-stepped the mast to work on it. If you stepped it (put it up on the boat), don't be trying too hard to get the pins out ... :)
