Headed across the gulf, and expect to be in Clearwater this weekend. Any one have any must sees, or should sees. Have only been there once before, and that was a couple of years ago. Expect will be a the Municipal Marina. Anyone in the area is invited to stop by and hoist one.

Just got back from Clearwater. Spent two days on H310 in Tampa Bay, alas no wind.
You're better off sailing the 60-foot schooner Tradewinds out in the Gulf. Better wind.
It runs out of Clearwater Marina at 1 and sunset. $75 per. Well worth it.

Sailing across

Coming across the gulf from New Orleans area. Offshore forecast looks really good, E and NE from 10 to 15. Seas 2 to 3 for the next several days. Don't get much better.

Frenchy's has the best grouper sandwiches. Dont go to the one on the beach... too noisy. the original one is a block off the beach. Caladesi, Honeymoon, Three Rooker Bar, and Anclote I. the four islands n. of Clearwater have some of the best powdery white sand anywhere. Caladesi is the only island with slips. Tarpon Springs is always a hoot, and also accessable by boat, there are public slips there. Let me know if you need anything, I live in the area.
