Cleaning with KO

Peggy,A little while ago you recommended cleaning all surfaces with KO to remove odor on internal boat surfaces. In hard to reach places I was going to spray it on with a garden sprayer and use a mop to scrub where I could reach, then let it dry. I wondered if I should use the same mixing ratio that it recommends on the bottle for a holding tank or do you recommend another ratio.I appreciate the help.Dave

K.O. is not a cleaning product

And I've never suggested using it instead of any cleaning products, only afterward to get rid of any remaining odor after something like a holding tank spill...or in carpet and cushions that puppy peed on, or to get rid of musty odors in lifejackets etc. The bacteria in it "eat" any remaining odor-causing spores. But first you have to clean, with good ol' detergent, water, and elbow grease, and then rinse thoroughly to get rid of all the dirty water...use a power washer in the hard to reach places if the water pressure on the dock isn't strong enough for the nozzle on the end of hose to flush 'em out. Then, AFTER everything is clean and dry, you can spray the hard to reach places with K.O. full strength if you want to.
