The floatation tubes on my 8' Walker Bay dinghy has pitch, tar and a golden glaze on the tops of the tube. I am wondering if anyone knows what can be used to clean it without damaging the tube material. Thanks.

Awsome orange hand soap. Use on my caribe. Rinse throughly when done. Then use a liquid turtle wax or a clear wax protectant to seal the deal. Will help keep things in order for awhile. Next step go to your local canvas shop and invest in a good sunbrella cover. Its either that or keep dingy in garge out of the elements. I had my dingy cover taylor made to work weather dingy is on the davits or sitting on the dingy float.
