Cleaning The Sole

The PO of my boat put a coat of paste wax on the sole. Any suggestions on how to remove it...without taking off any of the finish.

I'll answer my own post...one guy said try white vinegar diluted with water, can't vouch for that. I did use mineral spirits, they worked fine.

Another Suggestion....

that I have not tried...ammonia and water.

Try some Acetone. First on a small, out of the way area.

Also read that full strength Simple Green and Fantastik will work. Sorry, agolden, you try the acetone and tell me how it works...I think that's a bit potent for interior wood.
