The same way you clean the port! Ha! Sorry...I couldn't resist. I have good luck with Simple Green and also a spray Clorox Cleaner (like from the store, not just Clorox) it it's really dirty a scrubbing sponge with the Clorox Cleaner.What do you do to clean starboard.

Phosphoric acid will remove any rust stains. It might take numerous applications, but in the end it will work. However, on wood you might want to thin it considerably and do even more applications. It might bleach the wood, so be careful. Ospho is the trade name.I have rust stains from the screws that secure the wood strips on the stern seats. I have not found anything that will remove those rust stains. I have tried variious rust removers but no joy.
Anyone have a solution (no pun intended) for this?
