Some help.

Rick: You can soak your sails in a bath tub, swiming pool or use a hot tub. For a new tiller, contact H & L Marine in Rancho Domiquez, CA. They have many off the shelf designs or can custom make one too.

Use a ph neutral

mild detergent such as "Dreft" - do not use bleach. Let them soak at least 24 hrs, rinse several times. Do not hang them to dry or put in a dryer. If they are heavily soiled or stained, SailCare does a nice job of cleaning/retreating them, but you will wait a while to get them back.
