Cleaning Fenders

This is one of the rare instances when I didn't go after the problem, I covered it.

Fender cleaning was just too rediculous. It would take me 30 minutes of acetone-then-soap-then conditioner just to get a single fender presentable, x 4 = 2 hours of work, sweat, and mess. Then they would be hideous again in a few months.

I covered them with fender covers. Even got the boat name monogrammed on them. Looks much better than even clean fenders, matches the canvas color, can't see the ugly fenders underneath, no more cleaning, and still in new condition after 2 years. The covers were $20 each. i just use mine dirty --i have no pride !!LOL.....the dirt doesnt seem to hurt anything---and i live in a dirty place--under a bridge!!! on a mooring LOL......
