Cleaning Bird Poop on canvas

I have bird poop on my canvas from this past season and thinking washing each piece in washing machine with spot cleaner with also soap.

I would avoid the washing machine. The machine can be kind of brutal to the canvass and any vinyl.

A soft deck brush along with a mild soap, boat soap, woollite, etc. and throughly rinse the soap off.

I usually hit it with the needlepoint setting on a standard garden hose and take my canvas to the cleaners after every season. For the most part they come back looking new. It usually costs $60-100 for sail cover, bimini, boot and tiller cover. You should also take a look at Sunbrella's stain chart

I lay the canvas (main cover, bimini, dodger) out on the driveway and use a combination of garden hose and soft scrub brush with mild soap. I leave them to dry on the deck railing and hope no more poop accumulates
