Cleaning and Waxing Best Practices

In my neck of the woods (Alberta) we are just getting ready to do some spring cleaning. I am asking for what products and techniques worked well to clean and make the top side shine.

I jest did thus to my boat and it looks great. I also did my old S2 with great results. Some thought I had a new paint job done. It's not a good idea to do the non skid for safety reasons.
