Curious as to what products everyone uses to clean their hunter 216 boats? I have my boat moored and have minor rust stains near by bow eye and general dirt buildup on the deck. I have tried "roll away" and am not too impressed with the results. Any insight as to what cleaning products I should stay away from would be appreciated! Thanks Bill

Spray Away

I've used Spray Away on my H170 with good results. I've had to use a Scotchbrite pad on a rust stain that I had on the deck. At least we don't need to worry about rubbing through gelcoat. The Spray Away worked well for the dirt buildup and the grayish film that accumulates. I then use Plexus in the spray can. Leaves it nice and smooth. JerryA

Cleaniong H216

I've had success using a product from Aurora called Speed Clean. Its for inflatable boats so it works well on plastic and vinal. Gary

Clorox Cleanup

I get a lot of stains from leaves and flowers. I have used several marine products, some better than others but all require that you get on your knees and scrub if you really want to get the staisn out. With Clorox Cleanup, you only spray, wait a few minutes and hose off. It is also very inexpensive!

H216 ACP Hull Cleaning

Look in the archives. There has been a lot of discussion on how to clean (and keep clean) the ACP hulls.
