Hello all, I have a question about installing new plastic graphics, new name and state. Can I use like a spray nine to clean off the hull first? Whats good? thanks Red

Ask the people who make the graphics. I have used acetone, but I had just painted the transom the week prior

I use Acetone - it will wash away any remaining oil on the surface and then evaporate. Do not use fingernail polish remover from a drug store. Use pure acetone.

I just got our boat name graphics in the mail from BoatUS. The instructions said to clean the area with good ol window cleaner. If there is residual glue from a previous application they said to use stuff like GooGone.
I'm no expert...just relaying what was on the instructions here. Good luck.
