Just purchased a 1986 C27TR. Very excited. The boat has not been buffed out, polished, or cleaned for several years. I am spending the next 2 weeks cleaning the boat before launch. The boat has a rubberize non-skid on deck. This is not a fibergalss non-skid lke in earlier Catalins, but rather a rubberized non-skid glued (I'm assuming) to the deck surface. This is factory installed because I have seen it on all of the C27 of this mid-80'd time frame.
I would like to clean this up a bit. Detail it out, if you will. Is there a way to clean this? I'm thinking of just a very mild soap/detergent and a very soft brush? Is there a dressing for this? Please don't suggest Armorall....I want to stay on the boat!!!!
