Hello I own an '85 H34 and I want to add an additional curcuit breaker to my panel. Somewhere I read that the ones Hunter used are odd size and are hard to find. Any suggestions on what type they are and where to locate them? Thank You

Not True

On the early 34s ('83)the circuit breakers were standard issue, available from Boats US or West Marine. The pilot lights for the panel are more of a challenge. I believe you have to go to Radio Shack for them. I think the same is true of your 34, but am not 100% sure.

I agree with Clyde

I just added one from West Marine fit as the others. John Kudera

I also added one from West Marine and it fits fine.

Bend Gently

The standard breaker West Marine carries will fit, but on the 34, the terminal that fits onto the solid conductor strip (hot side) has to be bent at a slight angle to fit. Grab it with pliers and bend it near the base so you don't deform the screw threads. While you have the panel open, tighten all the screws on all the connections. I found they seem to loosen a bit over an extended period of time probably due to thermal expansion and vibration. Good Luck. George prior 34 owner
