I just recently moved here from Seattle and am looking for interesting places to sail to on the Chesapeake Bay. I am just getting my bearings, so I would appreciate all the help I can get. What is your favorite spot to visit and why? Good restaurants....secret hideaways.....anything you can think of. I am hoping to make my first summer on the Chesapeake Bay memorable with your help. Upper Middle or Lower?
The Bay covers a pretty large area. Where are you concentrating your attention? I enjoy sailing on the Patuxent River. Many nice coves and anchorages. The Choptank(Big and Little) are nice too. My bet is that if you throw out a destination, it will be on somebodys list. So many ports and anchorages, so little time.
