Chesapeake Area Sailors

I am a Navy student at the Defense Information School at Fort Meade. I am looking to do a photo story on sailing. Would anyone be willing to let me join you on a sail? It doesnt have to be long. I would like to take the photos by the 23rd of August. I have class every weekday until 4 pm but weekends I am always free. The photos are not published just graded by my instructor and I can send you copies as well. Fort Meade is close to Annapolis/Baltimore, but I would be willing to drive far if neccesary. Drop a note to any of the Commodores on the Pentagon Sailing Club "About" page. http://www.pentagonsailing.org/ Let them know what you need, would be surprised if someone didn't have a spare slot for crew.

There's racing most week nights, beginning tonight, at many Bay sites and clubs. I believe Annapolis races tonight and Harve de Grace (out of Tidewater) races tomorrow night.

Even if you can't get a ride, Annapolis races end near the end of the city dock and entrance to "Ego Alley". Good shots can be obtained from the Chart House or the Spa Creek Bridge.

Check out the online version of SpinSheet (www.spinsheet.com). It has a section on crew listing where you could advertise your intent along with specifying a geographic area in the Bay you want to try.
