cherubini ???

This may be a dumb question but ; I have a 27.5 ft 1983 Hunter. Is this a Cherubini design? If so can someone give me a little background. I'm a new owner.

As I understand it Cherubini was the Hunter designer/architect from the late 70's thru the early 80's. Do a search on the archives and you can find out more...JoeS/V Charis

Go to "The Boats"

If you have a 26.5, it is not a Cherubini. The Cherubini forum page lists the boats he designed.T o be sure, go the "The Boats" at the lower left of the www.hunterowners.com main page. Then select 26.5. Look at the pictures. Select 27_75-84, and look at those pictures. Which one is your boat? The second is the Cherubini model.DavidLady Lillie, '77 h27 Cherubini

something is wrong

are you sure you are giving us the right size and the right vintage???, in 1983 is wheb the factory was moved to Florida, but they were still producing the cherubini 27 footers not a 27.5, the 1963 hunter 27 has 8 opening ports, two hatches but no main sheet traveler, just a set of blocks, also the 83 has full 360 deg. coaming and weighs 7200 lbs, is this your boat?
