Nicely done.

We've let our YC membership drop. I don't race and there wasn't much going on for cruisers. There was plenty of drunken foolishness, though, so we lost interest in going to the meetings. We still participate in some activities (big brother/big sister outing, etc.) but that's about it.

We call our self a "Family Orientated Club". No alcohol at meetings. ( learned our lesson) We have a dry bar, but that is only used a few times a year.

We are a working club, that is 99.999% of the work is done by member, which has been significant with many large capital projects over the years. We haul and store our own boats. Purchased a travel lift and had a pit made 15+ years ago. We remove all our docks & moorings in the fall. Put back in in the spring.

Between hurricane Irene & Sandy we had close to $200,000 damage which the club members repaired and kept the "profit" because we did the labor.

Of the 200 members, I get along with 199 of them :)

A very tight club.
