There is alot of good advice here. One of the things that makes your advice real and believable is who you are.When you register, you have shown us that you want to take part in this forum. I think that your input would have much greater meaning if you would click your "blue name" on one of your posts and let us know who we are talking to. I have heard good advice from some here and try to click on their "blue name" only to be cautious of advice from someone that won't tell us who they are. I am sorry but if you are not willing to give me background about who you are, I most of the time will not take your opinion into account. The reason is that you want to post but not be accountable for what you say. It is easy to register and to tell us who you are. Good idea and I'd add, as many have

identify the boat you have and the equipment you are describing.A 30 foot boat with an engine is less apt to elicit a reliable response as a Catalina 30 with an M25 engine.It just makes us help you "better."
