i like to install a new chartplotter that i can see in a standard 310 nav pod, whats the biggest size sceen anyone has managed preferably touch, with no modifications. b and g, garmin , raymarine, no need to integrate with other instruments.

Looks like a Garmin GPS map X5.

Garmin 942 XS (better updated models now but seriously...how much better does one need?). By the way, it is so simple to integrate with the instruments that I believe the extra work is worth it. I set up Garmin NMEA backbone and also used a Raymarine converter for the instruments. Fusion stereo, AIS transponder also chained in.

I installed the Garmin 942 as well and bridged the existing SeaTalk network with NMEA2K.

Yes I did the same. Kept the old Ray M instruments and got the SeaTalk converter to NMEA2K...works great
