Will be spending 4-5 days in Mt.Pleasant in July.Planning to be beach bums during the day and eat seafood at night.Can some local experts recommend some restaurants and watering holes that are favorites.Not looking for fancy places........just good food and neat atmosphere.The Wreck has been recommended as a start.If you prefer,email me at bowtrash@hotmail.com.Thanks in advance.Looking forward to the getaway.

If u like the nightclub scene n r into college age women(what rightminded man isnt) the "wayside" is the big local hangout...really is a glorified meat market...cya round

Do the "Market Crawl"

If you're staying in Mt. Pleasant, take a cab, etc. into downtown CHS and head to the Market. The driver will know exactly where you want to go. Take in the history of the Market, then hit Henry's, Tommy Condon's, or just about any of the watering holes/restaurants. It's all within a 2-3 block area. Great place to scar your knees at night's end. Bay Street also has some spots to go hang out. Have fun!!
