Problem found...main charging system breaker tripping. Gonna replace it. House bank is 630 AH.
Thanks for all your help.

Glad to hear you found it.

Do you really have 6 group 31’s fit in a 37’ boat?

The rule of thumb is to size the charger for at least 10% of your bank size; preferably 20% or more for AGM’s. That puts your 40A charger quite a bit on the low side. You may want to consider whether a larger charger would be worth the investment to preserve the life of your AGM’s.

Replacement charger is on my list. It's a question of boat $$$ vs real $$$

I’d like to address one issue. A common mistake people make is increasing their battery bank, and not accounting for the other side of the equation ; I.e. charging.
With an increased battery bank, you need to address your charger, and your alternator.
if you do a lot of cruising, the larger battery bank is great to keep your fridge & freezer alive longer.
But, it will mean very long charging times on your engine with the stock alternator. On my prior Hunter, I had to charge for 2 hours before I swapped out my alternator for a larger Balmar and external regulator.
