Does anyone know how you can change the sheaves on deck organizers. The originals are cracked and need replacement. Thank You More info: Deck Organizers are on a Catalina 27. One installed Portside the other Starboard. Each organizer is dual (two sheaves). Any help would be appreciated. Ray

Garhauer.

Deck Organizers
Steve is right, they're most likely Garhauer. If they are, call Guido at Garhauer. I'll bet that they'll be able to send you the sheaves so you can change them out yourself. The stainless sheave holders are most likely through bolted into backing plates encased in the deck top, unless you can see bolts coming through inside your cabin. Catalina put those plates in the cabintop so the deck organizers could be simply screwed into the tapped holes in the plates. Thanks for this thread - I've been meaning to replace my sheaves, but couldn't find the time to take the organizers off and send them to Garhauer - I'd miss some sailing! Now all I have to do is call them, get the new sheaves and it should be a quick changeout.
