Just back from 2 days on the boat. 102* heat and plenty of lull time drifting around the swimming hole, but each day we also had several hours of really good sailing to test out the new swivel cam cleat setup. during the really good part of the sailing days it was generally between 8-10kt with gusts to 12Kt and some short periods (too long to be called gusts) of up to 15. the late afternoon push. The short story goes: I never once had to stand up to release the sheets during the two days. Even when I was toying with Jennifer by allowing the boat to heel over 20*-25* there was never too much pressure on the sheet that I couldn't pull it out, wile seated, to ease.
I'm sure there are better systems that could be installed on the boat, but bang for the buck, and for simplicity sake, I don't think this setup for ~$110.00 could be beat. I'm VERY satisfied with the results.
