Hunter 37 cutter Port Norris
We've just purchased our 1979 Hunter Cutter in July 2013.
Love the boat. love the lines.
She is a fun boat to sail and we plan to retire on her in a few years.
I've been looking on the forums and haven't seen anything on routing the running rigging back to the cockpit . Mostly the mainsail halyard to a new self tailing winch starboard of the companionway and the staysail halyard to the port side. Any Ideas or recommendations ??

You might try contacting Harken for leads towards drawings of different systems. You also can try local sail lofts, riggers or even local knowledgeble yacht club members/staff.
Walk the docks in your area and ask other sailors about their boats and rigging.
After looking at other boats I rigged mine for single hand sailing but it has been done to my needs.

hello

I too have rigged my sailboat for solo sailing... everything comes back to the cockpit for ease of sailing... even when I have a crew on board, it is more relaxing and not as scary as trying to get up on the bow area while sailing or heeling...

I have a new (used) sailboat now... I am decommissioning my od boat, and transferring all the deck hardware over to set it up for solo sailing... one thing I did do was make each rope a different color, so when I have inexperienced people on board, it makes it easier to tell them what they need to do to help.

here are some diagrahms for you to look at.... hope these will help

sincerely
Jess
