chainplates

I am going to convert to a split backstay on my Catalina 28 (1991). I need another chainplate, does anyone have a source for this type of part?? Thanks Dave

Backstay

Tell me if i'm wrong. I have a 1990 28. It looks like in order to properly split the backstay you have to move both backstays off of the lower stern to the top and ends of the stern. I've seen pictures of it done both ways and moving both looks better room wise and adjuster wise. For the hardware you may try riggingonly.com Rick
