I disagree. I have worked a lot with various epoxy puddings. No way can I fill that void and leave a perfect angled hole that is 3/16" by 1 1/2" by 2"(depth, a guess).
This is why you wrap the chain plate in about 1/8" thick of electrical tape, wax the surface of it, reinstall chain plate then tape the cabin side with Gorilla tape to prevent the epoxy from drooling onto the cabin. Inject non-thickened epoxy let sit for about one minute then suck it all out, mix with cabosil and re-inject.I disagree. I have worked a lot with various epoxy puddings.
