1994 Hunter 40.5
My 40.5 does not have a chain stopper installed. Right now I have a hook on a short length of line to keep the load off the windlass when underway.
It looks like there is place for a pin in the anchor roller at the aft end that might be where one can be installed. The stainless steel roller is 2 7/8 inches across. I'm sorry I don't have a picture but I'll try to take one this weekend if no one can picture what I am talking about.
If you have a chain stopper installed how/where is it installed and do you know a source for one that will fit in this location. If not how is yours installed? A picture would be useful.
