I need to do some work on the main salon hatch on my "86 H31. It seems that the PO had forced the hatch open and closed bending one of the hinges so the hatch no longer seats (or seals) properly. Is there any way to do a repair or is it a complete hatch replacement job ?

Same problem

I had the same problem with my forward hatch and can't find a fix for it other than replacing the entire hatch. I was told that rebuilding (removing and sending to HacthMasters) the hatch would be just as expensive as replacing so I may as well replace....I tried to bend the hinge back and ofcourse it broke off. Good Luck
