my air con is not blowing cold i have tried recharging to no avail,any body know the procedure to check it out,all sea cocks clear pumps and fans working just not going cold......its [eastern marine of stuart ]manufacturer,,people often ask where is my homeport ,down load [Google earth] and see it there[ariel photographs..thanks in advance.

Expansion Valve?
Is the water going over board hot? If it is, then you are removing the heat from the refrigerate. When it goes throught the expansion valve the liquid should turn back into a gas and become very cold. Recharging can be overdone.

Control Unit?
Mike, I had one of the Eastern Marine units and had repeated trouble with the control unit -- thermostat failed and the compressor wouldn't engage. If you haven't already done so, pull your control unit and look for burned wires or melted connections. If so, that's a good news/bad news situation. Good news is that is what your problem is, bad news is getting a replacement or repair since Eastern Marine has been notoriously difficult to deal with.
