I need help on how to replace my centerboard line. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check out at the tabs at the top of this forum page: "Boat Info", then "Hunter Owner Modifications", then "26" and the sister boat, "260". Here is a link at the above location specific to centerboard line replacements:

Remember several things.
1. line is 7/16 inch line, not 1/2
2. use a tracer line when pulling the CB line thru
3. use duck tape to hold the stainless steel pins in place on the housing
4. Wiggling the centerboard helps to get that out and also back in.
5. make sure if in slings the slings are tied together so they cannot slip off the boat.
6. do not force the bolt back into the CB housing plate.
7. clean the area around the bolt and apply a bead of 5200 so water can never come]
thru where it goes into the top plate.
