Has anyone had the replace the bronze centerboard tang on a Wanderer or the very similar P35? My Wanderer's wore away and I need to replace. I've found plenty of info on replacing the pennant and pin but nothing on the tang connecting the pennant to the centerboard.
Any advice or referral would be appreciated.

Here's a photo from the last haulout. It looks like there are two tangs, one on each side of the board. I hope this helps.

Dimensions of the tang and clevis pin?

Thanks 138! Any idea on the dimensions of the tang and clevis pin?

Sorry, I don't. Your best bet may be to wait until you haul the boat for its next bottom job, measure the tang as soon as they haul the boat (or remove the tang if you can) then have the new one made. A bottom job takes a couple of days, so if there's a machine shop close by, the new tang might be ready by the time the boat is ready to go back into the water.

Things might go faster if you arrange with the machine shop to have a piece of bronze or stainless steel stock on hand. I'm guessing 3/16 inch to 1/4 inch thick, and about four inches by 12 inches. Overestimate the size so it can be cut to fit. Good luck.
