Centerboard problem

My boat was recently on a hoist and when it was lifted from the trailer the centerboard came down about 2.5 feet. The board was cleated in the up position and the centerboard up-haul is rigged according to the Hunter manual. Has anyone else experience this problem? How do you correct the problem? The centerboard appears to drag on the ramp when the boat is replaced on the trailer after sailing.

Holy cats! We've been having a problem too, but not with slack tackle. Our Hunter 212 centerboard sticks in the up position. So far, we've been able to get it to drop with severe jiggling, but are really concerned whether it will get worse or not. Our dealer and Hunter/JY has been OK so far about working with the warranty, but we're worried about coverage if the problem continues (or gets worse!).
