How do I replace the line to the centerboard. It is 10 years old and I do not trust it any longer. I cannot seem to find a way to get to it. I do have it up on a lift, but still cannot get to it. Do I have to drop the board? HOW!!!
Did mine on my H240. The boat has to be lifted. There is big bolt under the cover plates at the base of the mast. Undo it and the assymbly will drop out of the centerboard trunk. Attache a messanger line to the old one. Replace the line,and reattach the assembly with the bolt. Use a liberal amount of sealent around the bolt.
