I sail a '98 Hunter 240 on Mobile Bay. She stays in the water 99% of the time except for during hurricanes. It is time now to do a little preventive maintenance and replace the centerboard uphaul line. I have read all of the posts in the archives on how to do this. The question that I have is what is the best type of line to use as a replacement. I would need something resistant to being in the water almost all of the time (the end attached to the centerboard), and perferably something with low stretch to make raising the darn thing a little easier. Any advice that you guys could give would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,W. T.S/V "Joy"
