Our oday daysailer II has a little problem We are hoping to make a quick repair and get out on the water today. The cleat that hold the centerboard up has come off so the line that raises the centerboard has nowhere to be secured. Sounds like a simple repair but once the cleat came off we see that it has come off befor so the area is not virgin. Should we try to put the cleat back in the same area or shoule we move to a new area? In addition the one screw was lost on the lake. Does anyone have a quick fix so we can get out today? thank you

i have never sailed an oday daysailer II, but if the board is down i don't see why you can't sail it. if you need to raise the board to get it on the trailer you could try run a rope under the boat ahead of the center board and pull it back toward the stern to raise it and fix it properly later or else add a length of line to cleat it someplace until you can get it fixed.
