The cable to our centerboard corroded and down came the centerboard. Interested in what other boaters have used to replace this cable? What about the new cable strength line to help with corrosion problem? First boat we've had with a centerboard.

If your centerboard is made of fiberglass, I don't see why you can't use a braid line instead of the wire cable. Give Rudy Nickerson of D&R Marine a call. He has all the parts for O'Days, and I'm sure he will have the answers that you need on what to use. Good luck.
