I'm having a tandem axle trailer made for a 1993 Catalina 28 with a wing keel. To keep the boat balanced I was told to find the dimension for the boat's CLB, center line of balance and line that up between the two axles. The tech at Catalina said the CLB is approximately half way along the keel. The keel has a slight curve on the bottom and the boat rests on the cradle at a point on that curve. Is that point the actual CLB because it is about 8-10 inches aft of the middle of the keel? The axles are going on Monday 4/9/01 so a quick response would be helpful. Thanks.
