I'm loking for an experienced sailor who could tell me how to fix a center board in Hunter 20. The line is broken and it doesn't come up. Where do I exchange the line and could I use the steel one.
I DON'T CONSIDER MYSELF THAT EXPERIENCED......BUT, COULD YOU USE A STIFF WIRE OR STRAIGHTENED COAT HANGER TO PULL A NEW LINE THROUGH? MY IDEA WOULD BE TO USE TOP QUALITY KEVLAR RACING ROPE AS REPLACEMENT, SAME DIAMETER. GOOD LUCK WITH IT. MARTY
