i just bought a hunter 23.5 and need to replace the center board rope but i cannot figure out how to access it nor can i figure out how the mechanical advantage of the pulleys work to pull the centerboard up.anyone know the mechanics of how the centerboard is raised?thanks

My centerboard is off right now. You must remove the centerboard to change the uphaul line. There is also a pulley in the centerboard well. To remove the centerboard you need to remove the access cover on the aft end on the mast strut in the main cabin. When that cover is removed you will see a 3/4" bolt. You remove that bolt and the centerboard will drop off the bottom of the boat. You need to make sure you have enough clearance and someone to hold the centerboard. Ensure you check your pin and sleeve for excessive play, I just had to replace mine.I will post a picture of the mounting bracket.
