Having loaded the boat on the trailor I used the trucks brakes to move it forward on the trailor. Once under way noticed someone signaling. Stopped the truck only to find that the center board was dragging on the pavement. The solution is to to add a piece of 2x4 on the beam just in front of where the tip of the center board sits while on the trailor. Has never happened again.
