Hello All! I have read several posts re: replacing the CB line, BUT I have another question: Is it at all possible to access the CB line from inside the cabin? My husband seems to think so, but I am leary of letting him try!! Thanks in advance Anita

Nope...

You have to undo the bolt in the boat then the board and bracket assembly will fall out the bottom. The line fastens into the board via a hole and a knot. Paid the Marina $100 to hoist the boat up and give me a couple of hours to drop the board inspect and clean the bracket, replace the line, reinstall the bracket and board, and replace the boat onto the trailer. I resealed the bolt at the same time. You also need two people, one in the boat to loosen and tighten the bolt, and one underneath to catch the board, and push it back up inside. It weighs about 65 or 70 lbs, so its not real easy to push it back up inside, but I did it, and I'm pretty small 165 lbs.

Thanks Jack....

I was afraid of that. No worries I'll just have to take her to the marina before I launch. Thanks again, Anita
