cdi torque links

i need a couple of torque links for my cdi furler. has anyone found a way to make them or found a reasonable substitute for joining the extrusions. i have made new bearings from nylon - works well - easy to shape. the links are more of a challenge.

After a hurricane I had to replace a few of these as well as the nylon inserts. I called them up and they sent the parts right away and they were pretty reasonable. Spare yourself the pain and call them. FWIW the furler I had at the time was over 20 years old and they had plenty of parts.

I think I have a couple of them in my storage space. If I do, they are out of the large furler. I replaced mine a few years ago. PM me with which one it is.

I had an ancient furler of theirs on my previous boat and, as Ray said, they were more than helpful when I called them for parts, including torque links. Prices were reasonable and shipping quick.

thanks n/e i have the reefer# 4 with the head cam lock. the dimensions of the links are approx as follows

length 4" or 101.5mm
od .63" or 16.3mm
i d .29" or 7.5mm
if you have any links greater than this i may be able to modify them. a lot easier than trying to machine them from a 1" alu rod.

sorry for the delay

I have looked through everything in my store room twice, and I just flat don't have any torque links. was sure I had one or two of them.
