I installed a unit on my Morgan OI 33 about 6 years ago. Since then-no problems. We are strictly cruisers, but the unit operates properly. Dont know how it would hold up to continued racing. It is a good value in furlers. On the downside, its a bear to install. You need at least 2 people. The difficult part is snaking the forestay up the foil. Bob

I don't know nuthin'
I noticed one of those setups on a boat the other day and asked the owner about it. His comments were he didn't know about performance as he bought the boat with it already on but he said it's the only way to go. Praised the flexability and ease of operation. Said he uses this boat more often and singlehands way more often simply because he doesn't have to deal with a sailcover or reefing when he's unsure. I've been looking at them too and I believe it would reduce performance noticably but easier sure looks enticeing.
