This is my third season with the CDI roller furling on my Catalina 30TR. I am still not sure if after I raise the genoa I am securing the line which comes from the factory attached to the car/slug properly on the CDI drum which has a small double block and cleat. The manual isn't much help. Is there a right way to do this? Thanks in advance.

When the sail is out, most of the furling line will be wound around the drum. Pull the tail snug and put a few turns around a cleat. That's about it.

Same thing. I said page four .

It is the PDF page 4 but page 2 of the document. It is just a larger diagram with no writing. It would be identified by the letter "L". r.w.

I have a c30 TR and the line that pulls the sail up runs thru the hole in the cleat and is knoted off so you cant loouse it and have your sail come down and your hailyard race to the top of the mast.then use the cleat to hold the sail to the top of the track.the pully is like a down hall to take the horazontial lines out of the sail i just run a line thru the bottom clue then thru the pullys .
